Our clients span multiple sectors from small and medium to enterprise organizations. These include: automotive, education, government, health care, hospitality and retail.
Nutec Electro Tel is currently looking for VOIP / PBX / Network technicians to from intermediate to experienced rolls in our Calgary and Edmonton office.
Nutec is a end to end Managed Services provider. Our technicians are also end to end service providers to our customers, not just one piece of the solution. Nutec is a full network carrier where our technicians can complete the end to end project, pport numbers, setup cloud PBX's , design and assist with customer network design as well as provide ongoing support. (Install, commission and train on both hardware and UCAAS.)
Primary Responsibilities:
- IP Telephony PBX installation design and support
- SME (Subject Matter Expert) for supported products is a key benefit
- Programming of end to End PBX features - UCAAS collaboration, SIP trunks, Contact Center , Network and VOIP trouble shooting
- Firmware and service pack updates
- Preventative maintenance routines
- Maintenance and repair of system hardware
- Open and manage tickets with vendors
Qualifications:
· Attention to detail and clean work habits
· Good interpersonal communication
· Ability to work well alone and as a team
· Driver’s license/clean driving history
· Ability to work with basic hand tools and cordless drill
· Ability to work at heights (ladders, electric lifts, etc.)
· Basic IP and network knowledge, SAIT / NAIT technical diploma or 2+ years related experience
- Current and previous PBX certifications
- Comfortable with vlans, NAT, IP Subnetting, QOS, tracing (Wireshark), switch provisioning
- Experience with gateways, SIP, and data networking
- Diploma or Degree in telecom / networking / computer technology or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Professional, reliable, highly organized, and punctual

Salary: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
