Job Description:

• Install new/repair/replace/maintain aerial and underground cable systems.
• Performs all duties according to Safe Work Practices and Procedures using required safety equipment.
• Maintain good employee morale, communication and teamwork.
• Interact with customers, public and general contractors in a professional manner.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Aerial construction (pole change-out’s, setting anchors, new build and maintenance) is an asset.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather, along with additional hours as needed (including weekends).
• Participate in emergency call out work, when/if required.
• Must be able to work at heights
• Ability to work and focus on projects in a fast paced environment.

The individual should be able to, if required, travel out of town, have a clean Driver’s Abstract, valid BC driver’s license (minimum class 5 with Air Endorsement, preference will be given to Class 3 and reliable transportation. A Criminal Record Clearance will be required).

Salary: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
