Shermco Canada is seeking a Shop Labour Shop Labour We are seeking a Shop Labour to join our team in Regina, SK. Job Responsibilities:- Support Breaker Shop duties including but not limited to partial disassembly and parts cleaning
- Support Panel Shop duties including but not limited to panel fabrication and panel wiring assistance
- Support Shermco service offerings as assigned
- Drop-offs and pick-ups from various locations such as vendors, suppliers, project sites, equipment yards, and Shermco offices
- Shipping duties including but not limited to building crates, loading trucks via forklift, completing, and filing shipping documentation
- Receiving duties including but not limited to unloading trucks, reconciling receivables against packing slips, organizing project materials
- General housekeeping duties including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling, organizing, and maintaining Shermco yard, shop, and facility related assets.
- Update and maintain inventory of shop supplies and electrical equipment
- Support fleet requirements as assigned
- High school diploma
- Experience in related positions is an asset
- A valid driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
- Physical fitness and mobility required to moving/lifting of shipments
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritizing skills
- Able to work effectively as a part of a team as well as independently
- Both verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Experience operating a forklift considered an asset
