The Senior Security Analyst - IAM reports to the Manager, Identity and Access Management. This role will be responsible for performing access management for various applications and platforms such as Active Directory, Linux, and AIX. This role also requires a good technical document writer to create standard operating procedures and any other procedure documents related to access management, and applications support. This role also requires a good technical document writer to create standard operating procedures and any other procedure documents related to access management, and applications support. Responsibilities:
  • Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
  • Work closely with the IAM team to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the IAM systems such as Active Directory, Linux LDAP, OKTA, etc.
  • Involved in troubleshooting and resolving IAM issues.
  • Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
  • Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for the IAM program.
  • Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
  • Provide training to new users on the IAM system.
  • Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.
Job Duties
  • Managing user accounts and permissions in the identity and access management system.
  • Provisioning and De-provisioning access to company resources based on user role and privileges.
  • Creating and managing user groups in the identity and access management system.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.
  • Monitoring user activity in the identity and access management system.
  • Reporting on identity and access management system activity.
  • Identifying and addressing identity and access management issues.
  • Working with the IAM team to resolve identity and access management problems.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.
  • Documenting IAM processes and procedures.
Requirements Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT security or related work experience
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analysis preferred
  • 3-5 years of IAM experience with strong knowledge in Requirements methods: interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling, and user interface design
  • Hands-on with different requirement methodologies: methodology of Object Orientation, Use Cases, Unified Modeling Language, Agile, and waterfall approach
  • Experience with the IAM domain including related IAM capabilities & tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Scripting experience is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills required
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Identity and Access Management controls preferred
  • Experience with the following IT Security Frameworks required: NIST, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), ISO 27001 / 27002, Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Lean, Scrum, and Kanban preferred
Knowledge of:
  • User account provisioning and de-provisioning on a range of platforms, including Windows, Red Hat Linux, Unix, AIX, Oracle Db, Sybase, and various network devices.
  • Active Directory and LDAP Management
  • RSA, CyberArk, ServiceNow, Okta
  • RACF Mainframe, Lotus Notes, Sailpoint, Salesforce, AWS, HashiCorp

One or more of the following certifications are preferred:
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
  • CompTIA Security+
  • GIAC Information Security Fundamentals
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
