Salary: Performance Based
Hours: 40 hours / week
The primary duties include overseeing other members of the sales team, training, and implementing sales procedures and maintaining customer relationships. Must display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.
Managerial activities
- Onboard new Advisors including but not limited to:
- Instruct and review downloading of Quote software, phone lists, all carriers e-applications bookmarked on laptop browsers, update LinkedIn profile and other sites.
- Provide all phone, email and text templates and help set up.
- Help set up signature in Zoho email.
- Train new advisors to company standards
- Field Work, Meeting with clients:
- Could include face to face, screensharing, and/or phone calls, etc.
- Take calls, emails, texts from Advisors and support them with underwriting and other questions
- Review:
- Email templates with quotes from New Advisors before they are sent to client.ions
- Liaison:
- Link between Upper Management (Ben Therrien) and New Advisor.
- Co-ordinate:
- Between Call Center Management for lead and shift allocations.
- Between Contracting Co-ordinator for carrier contracts to ensure they are completed.
Use Industry Leading Technologies
- Quote comparison software to quickly tell you who has the best rate for your client. Never be undercut again.
- Electronic application with all carriers for real time submission
- Fastest turn around and quick weekly pay
- Ability to do remote meetings and applications
Qualifications and Education
- FSRA License is required
- Additional language (French in particular) preferred but not required.
- Driver’s license with own vehicle
- Must attend or have attended all core training sessions for Advisors and Managers.
- Must have or stay above: A closing ratio at/or above minimum standard or at/above team average performance on all lead sources.
Preferred Skills
- Highly organized, strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and general Internet use
- Strong management and sales skills
