Acting as a Project Manager on select Major Projects, responsibilities will include:• Managing the successful execution of large, complex, cross functional projects/programs simultaneously on-time, within scope and on budget, in a fluid fast-paced environment • Based on the project requirements, identify & govern overall scope, deliverables and interdependencies to deliver on the project objectives and targets • Expertly manage project cost estimating, budgeting and control activities to meet budgetary objectives
• Build strong collaborative relationships with project Sponsors, Business, IT and clinicians, to successfully deliver project milestones • Proactively monitor, track and control project outcomes by mitigating risks and resolving issues to ensure overall business readiness of the solution • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of all tasks, spend, dependencies and deliverables • Proactive vendor management to deliver based on contracted goods and/or services, to meet project requirements and timelines • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including Project Charter, Project Plan, Risk Management Plan and Status reports to the sponsor, project team and senior leadership as required • Schedule and facilitate regular Project status review meetings with the project teams, and management teams as required • Applying previous honed skills including client management, project scope development, implementation strategy and work planning, team chartering, communications management, team performance management, project scheduling, budget management and controls, cost estimating, risk identification and mitigation, safety, and quality management • Work creatively, collaboratively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and delivery excellence
- Establish a PMO within the organization, ensuring all initiatives are tracked and prioritized and SOPs are developed and applied for successful project delivery across the organization
- Act as resource to others within the organization that may be managing smaller, department focused initiatives, as needed
