Your key responsibilities:
You will greet customers, run the cash register, make purchase suggestions and sometimes work with our food program. There is never a dull moment as you will be working around the store (inside and out) in many different areas to help maintain our high standards for store appearance and provide fast and friendly service to our customers.
You will interact with many customers daily, all while working in a fun, energetic environment accomplishing daily tasks around the store!

Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts create a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. Hosts leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail.<\u002Fp>\n
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<\u002Fb><\u002Fp>\n \n
Develop a briefing sheet before each shift that will inform co-workers of shows\u002Fconcerts, special events and NBs<\u002Fli>\n - Possess a working knowledge of the restaurant trade area (location, surroundings, nearby attractions, directions, etc.)<\u002Fli>\n
- Ensure that the front entrance, host stand and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris<\u002Fli>\n
- Effectively manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity<\u002Fli>\n
- Communicate with Servers, Bartenders and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant<\u002Fli>\n
- Communicate expected restaurant volume with the BOH to ensure all necessary preparations can be made<\u002Fli>\n
- Accurately take reservations and modify guest status in Open Table<\u002Fli>\n
- Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section<\u002Fli>\n
- Fill out detailed special request forms for birthdays, anniversaries, NBs, etc. and ensure that all co-workers are informed<\u002Fli>\n
- Maintain the cleanliness of the washrooms by completing checks regularly throughout shift<\u002Fli>\n
- Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation and seat them accordingly<\u002Fli>\n
- Follow all food safety standards and systems<\u002Fli>\n

- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task<\u002Fli>\n
- Strong oral and written communication skills<\u002Fli>\n
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum<\u002Fli>\n
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset<\u002Fli>\n <\u002Ful>\n
