Peck Communications is Telecommunications contractor looking for motivated individuals to provide Fiber Optic and Satellite Internet installation services in Digby and Annapolis areas.
It is a full-time contractor position for Annapolis County area.
Requirements:
- Focused and dedicated
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work in different weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Customers oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Fluent in English
- Not afraid of heights
- Clean drivers abstract and criminal background records are must
- Reliable minivan, Smartphone, Laptop, Tools, and Ladders. Selected and required tools and supplies will be provided.
- REQUIRED ITEMS:
Ladder(s), Power Tools and Hand Tools,
Windows 10 Computer.
Smart Phone or Tablet & WiFi Router.
Truck or Van capable of carrying Ladder, Tools, and Supplies.
Your experience and knowledge will help Annapolis County communities get connected to the Internet!
Previous experience is an asset.
Compensation:

Service technicians install and support variety of fiber optic and satellite internet for residential and commercial customers. You will use variety of small and power tools. Climb fiberglass ladders, mount and align antennas, cables, run wires, set-up networks and educate customers.
You will interact with supervisor, clients, office staff, technical support team and customer representatives daily.
Training is provided.

- Internet Installation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- NS Class 5 Drivers License or Equivalent. (required)
