Job description
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
- Preventing shoplifting by paying attention to the high theft areas
- Keep an eye out for patrons who may have had too much to drink and offer assistance.
- Keep an eye on the floor and anticipates the needs of guests and fellow team members
- Conduct bag checks as required
- Effectively communicate with the team and offer support staff as their needs may require
- Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviors by the customers
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid Manitoba security licence (preferred)
